Why it works

As Established as Your Firm

The website is often the first thing a client checks after a referral.

I'm Mark, a web designer and senior software engineer based in Leeds. For a surveying or project management firm, the website is often the first thing a client checks after a referral. Before they call, they want to see the projects you've delivered, the people who would run theirs, and the clients who already trust you.

I build these sites the way a professional firm works: carefully, with nothing left to chance. I write the content for you, so the directors aren't drafting web copy between site visits. Every project gets its own page, every director gets a profile, and the details professional clients look for, like a published complaints procedure, are there from day one.

I design, write, build and host the whole site, and I'm the one you speak to for every change after launch. No agency, no account manager, and the person you meet is the one who builds it.

CTB

CTB, formerly Crowther Turnbull Booth, are Chartered Surveyors and Project Managers in Leeds, and their website hadn't kept pace with the firm's standing.

I rebuilt everything: a modern platform, refreshed branding and matching social channels, with the content written and regional SEO set up from the start. I've looked after it ever since. Here's how it's doing.

  • 3,348

    Visitors since launch

Over 8,000 page views, from Google, Bing, LinkedIn and social.

  • 956

    Visitors from search

Finding CTB on Google and Bing, thanks to the regional SEO set up at launch.

  • 593

    Contact page visits

With the right contact details on every page, and enquiries coming in from the website.

Figures: Vercel Analytics (live site only) and Google Search Console, launch to November 2026.

Spec sheet

What a Surveying Firm's Site Needs

All of it already running on CTB's site.

  1. A page for every project

CTB's site has a library of over 20 case studies, each with its own page, so the work speaks for itself and every project is another way to be found.

  2. The people behind the firm

A profile for every director, because clients hire people they trust.

  3. The clients you work with

Shown in a logo carousel, with professional architectural photography throughout.

  4. The details professional clients look for

Like a published complaints procedure, and regional SEO so the firm shows up when someone nearby searches for what you do.

FAQ

Common Questions

How much does a website for a surveying firm cost?

With Austin Tech Solutions, every build is quoted for your business and agreed as a single fixed price before any work starts. You can pay for the build upfront or spread it monthly. Hosting, updates, off-site backups and support then run on a simple monthly fee. Across the UK, most small businesses pay between £500 and £6,000 depending on how much is custom built.

Can you write the content for us?

Yes. For CTB, the content was written as part of the rebuild, along with the regional SEO, so the team didn't have to find time to write it themselves.

Will we lose our Google rankings if we rebuild?

No. Existing rankings are protected through the move: every old address is redirected to its new page, so the search traffic you've already earned carries over.

Who looks after the site once it's live?

I do. Hosting, security updates and off-site backups run on a fixed monthly fee, which includes up to 2 hours a month of changes and SEO work, so new projects and team changes go up without anyone in the office learning a new system.

Do you only work with firms in Leeds?

No. I'm based in Leeds, where CTB are, and work with businesses across Yorkshire, the North East and further afield. I meet clients in person, and everything can also be handled remotely.
