I'm Mark, a senior software engineer based in Leeds. Through Austin Tech Solutions I look after local SEO for businesses across Yorkshire: the Google Business Profile, the website behind it, and the listings and reviews that tell Google you're a real business in a real place.

Your website, built for local search: the areas you serve in the content, structured data Google can read, and a fast, mobile-friendly site. Search Console is monitored so problems are caught early, and the site is set up for AI search tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews too.
Everything around them: consistent business details across listings like Bing Places, Apple Business Connect and Yell, and a simple routine for asking happy customers for reviews.
Built To Be Found: Yorkshire Motorsport
Yorkshire Motorsport is my own project: one calendar of track days, test days and race meetings at seven circuits in and near Yorkshire, built in Leeds and run to the same standard as every client site.
It's built to be found. Every circuit and regular fixture, like the BTCC at Donington Park, has its own permanent page with visitor FAQs and last-updated dates, so Google and AI search tools have a clear answer to point people to.
Within weeks of launch it was showing up for hundreds of different searches every month, and it now sits at the top of Google for searches like "car events near me this weekend".

Local SEO is everything that decides whether a business shows up when someone nearby searches for what it does: the Google Business Profile, consistent business details across the web, reviews, and a website that makes clear where the business operates. How much does local SEO cost?
Local SEO and Google Business Profile management are part of the Austin Tech Solutions monthly plan, from £99 a month, alongside hosting, security updates, off-site backups and up to 2 hours of changes. Every new website also has local SEO built in from the first page.
Can you do local SEO without building my website?
Yes, and it's quoted on its own. Most clients start with a new website or a rebuild, though, because local SEO works best when the site itself is built for it. If your current site is holding you back, Mark will tell you honestly.
Do I have to give you my Google login?
No. Google lets a profile owner add managers, so Mark can keep your Google Business Profile up to date without you sharing your own login, and you stay the owner.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Changes to a Google Business Profile usually show within days, and a neglected profile put right can start to help within a few weeks. Cleaning up business details across directories takes longer, because each site updates on its own schedule and Google has to re-check them. Reviews, links and rankings for competitive searches build over months, so it works best as steady upkeep rather than a one-off job.
